Pauline Gast
Pauline arrived in Palawan in 2013 as a underwater photographer and started a production company, which is still running today! Her thirst for exploration of the island she calls home is what drove her on to found Off-Grid Explorers at the same time!

Harry also arrived on the island as a diver, but like Pauline, saw a lack of ways to freely explore the 'Last Frontier' as the island is affectionately known. They put their heads together, and OGE was born!

About Us
Our story began with a passion for adventure and a love for the raw, unspoiled landscapes of Palawan. As travelers ourselves, we noticed that while Palawan’s beaches, lagoons, and islands offer a captivating experience, the journey to discovering them often felt limited to conventional stays. We wanted to create an option that would be just as mobile and flexible as the adventurous spirit of the island itself. That’s when the idea of a truck camp was born—an innovative, cozy, and versatile setup that gives you the freedom to roam while being in the heart of nature.
Each truck is equipped to make your stay comfortable yet authentic, with amenities like a large double bed, compact storage, cooking facilities, and portable power. Imagine waking up to panoramic views of Palawan’s breathtaking cliffs or parking by a secluded beach, where the only sounds are the rustling waves and chirping birds. Whether you’re a solo explorer, a couple, or a small group, our truck camp offers you a safe, comfortable, and eco-conscious base to explore El Nido on your own terms.
Our commitment is to make your stay as memorable as possible. From helping you discover hidden gems to sharing tips on where to eat or swim, we’re here to guide you toward an unforgettable experience. Get ready to embrace the freedom of life on the road and create memories that will last a lifetime in Palawan’s first-ever truck camp. Welcome aboard—your adventure awaits!
